The Future of Work is Open: TeamWP Launches the Team Experience Index, a Groundbreaking Survey for the WordPress Ecosystem<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Toronto, April 11, 2023 – TeamWP, a leading advocate for open, people-first workplaces<\/a> in the WordPress ecosystem, today announced the launch of the Team Experience Index, an industry-first comprehensive survey designed to provide insights into employee experience at WordPress companies. The survey aims to empower companies to create better, more open work environments and help leaders in the ecosystem understand the unique challenges and opportunities within their teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Team Experience Index is the only survey of its kind, featuring questions tailored specifically for the WordPress ecosystem. It covers various aspects of employee experience, including company culture, leadership, management and teamwork as well as learning more about employees’ individual experience, career progression opportunities, professional development, compensation and recognition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

“The distributed nature of WordPress companies means they often lack the resources and knowledge to create truly open, people-first workplaces,” said James Giroux, founder of TeamWP. “The Team Experience Index fills this gap by providing insights and benchmarks that help companies identify strengths and areas for improvement, fostering a more open, collaborative, and innovative work culture.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The initial results of the Team Experience Index will be released during WordCamp Europe in Athens this coming June. The survey targets employees of companies that build products and services for businesses using WordPress, including WordPress product companies (those creating plugins and themes), WordPress service companies (agencies and consultancies), and WordPress logistics companies (hosting companies) and those who support these customer-facing companies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
